Position Specific Description

The Senior Project Manager within NEER Development Digital Solutions and Analytics team will play a crucial role in advancing digital transformation for NextEra Energy Resources, contributing to strategic initiatives in support of land acquisition and renewable energy project development.

In this role, you will collaborate with renewable project developers, land agents, attorneys, paralegals, payment analysts, and information technology teams to support the product development for our various land management systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with business and technical teams to identify opportunities to leverage technology for process optimization.

  • Drive digital solutions and product strategy for Salesforce Land, Irth Payments and associated platforms.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives and establish timelines for delivery of technology solutions and enhancements.

  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business needs.

  • Mentor and train business teams on effective technology use.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Salesforce, Land Management, or related software.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.

  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing effectively.

  • Bonus: Experience in the energy sector and knowledge of renewable energy project development.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
  • Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
  • Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues
  • Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
  • Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
