Position Specific Description

The Associate Project Manager will support more experienced developers in transmission development opportunities primarily in the Western U.S. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute on project development plans under the direction of more experienced project developers including, but not limited to, action item lists, schedules, and management presentations
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities under tight deadlines

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports all aspects of the day-to-day development process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost-effective and competitive result
  • Coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
  • Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
  • Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
  • Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Travel on an as-needed basis (0-15%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in finance, business or engineering
  • Experience: 0+ years
